We've been planning Bay Area micro weddings since we launched, and before that, we spent 18 years photographing weddings all over this region. We know which venues actually deliver, which permit processes are painful, and which restaurants understand how to host a small celebration the right way.

What Bay Area locations do you plan micro weddings in?
We plan intimate weddings throughout the Bay Area and Northern California — San Francisco (including City Hall), Marin County, Sonoma wine country, Napa Valley, Santa Cruz, Mendocino Coast, Lake Tahoe, and Palm Springs. We have years of relationships with venues, vendors, and permit offices in each location.
How much does a Bay Area micro wedding cost?
Our packages start at $4,500 for an elopement (2 guests) and go up to around $9,500 for a celebration of up to 50 guests. Every package includes officiant, florals, wedding cake, hair & makeup, day-of coordinator, and your planning portal. Venue fees, food & beverage, and photography are separate — we match you to the right options for your location and budget.
What is the best location for a Bay Area micro wedding?
It depends on your vibe. San Francisco City Hall for iconic architecture and world-class restaurants after. Marin for redwood ceremonies and coastal views. Sonoma for vineyard settings and wine-country dining. Santa Cruz for a relaxed, beach-adjacent celebration. We'll help you pick the right location for your style, guest count, and budget.
Do you plan micro weddings at SF City Hall?
Yes — SF City Hall is one of our most requested locations. We handle the permit, space selection (Mayor's Balcony, Grand Rotunda, or 4th Floor Gallery), vendor coordination, and private reception dinner after. See our dedicated SF City Hall page for full details.
How far in advance should I book a Bay Area micro wedding planner?
We recommend 3–6 months for most Bay Area locations. Popular venues and peak season dates (May–October) book faster — some as much as a year out. That said, we've planned beautiful weddings in as little as 6 weeks when everything lines up. Reach out early to check availability.
